SECTION 6. Pursuant to Section 11.45(d) of the Code of <br />the City of Redwood City, the time within which all affected <br />property owners must provide for service from underground <br />facilities is fixed as 142 calendar days from the effective date <br />of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 7. From and after the time fixed by Section 5 of <br />this ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person, including <br />utility companies, to erect, maintain or operate any pole, <br />overhead wire of associated structure in any portion of any <br />public street, alley or way within Underground Utility District <br />No. 1980-2. Violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor <br />punishable as provided in Section 1.7 of the Code of the City <br />of Redwood City. <br />SECTION 8. The City Clerk shall give notice of the adoption <br />of this ordinance as provided by Section 11.47 of the Code of the <br />City of Redwood City and shall accompany said notice with a copy <br />of this ordinance. <br />SECTION 9. This ordinance shall be effective 30 days from <br />the date of its adoption. <br />-3- <br />
