ii. Lead a minimum of one (1) meeting for city officials and arts <br />organizations that includes art education; feedback on art in the public realm <br />preferences for Redwood City; and recording of vision perspectives for art in <br />Redwood City. <br />iii. Lead a minimum of one (1) meeting for potential partners, developers, <br />sponsors, and patrons that includes art education; partner possibilities; <br />economic benefits of public art projects; etc. <br />2. Conduct intake of suggestions from residents, business owners, and developers <br />through a comprehensive process by surveys; direct interactive feedback; and group <br />and individual meetings. <br />3. Develop a Master Vision for the City of Redwood City with special attention <br />given to the pairing of artwork types and the spaces allotted to them. The Master Vision <br />shall be presented as a draft and then final document that will be presented to the Civic <br />Cultural Commission and to the City Council. <br />4. Develop a conceptual, long-term approach to public art in the city in the spirit of <br />a "Museum Without Walls" providing examples of potential artists, works in sites, and <br />aesthetic direction. <br />5. Create a prioritized list of locations for temporary and permanent public art <br />installations based on need and diversity of city assets. This shall be included in the final <br />Public Art Master Vision document (bound copy and electronic version) presented to <br />the Civic Cultural Commission and to the City Council. <br />6. Compile a list of artist recommendations, examples of pre-existing works, and <br />different metropolitan public art approaches, with the option to include conceptual <br />proposals — also to be included in the final Public Art Master Vision document. <br />7. Review existing procedural documents in order to streamline the call for artists <br />process and refine the artwork approval procedure, among other tasks to improve <br />efficiency. Make recommendations based on findings. <br />8. Re-evaluation will include documents including, but not limited to the following: <br />the Public Art Master Plan, the City Approval Process, and Section 2.38 and Chapter 45 <br />of the Redwood City Code. <br />9. Lead at least three (3) public art talks to address the merits and benefits of public <br />art, the national view on public art, its potential role in Redwood City, best practices, <br />and how the public can get involved.
