Employees granted part-time appointments to positions <br /> in the employment classifications designated in Section 1 hereof <br /> shall be compensated on an hourly basis in accordance with the <br /> salary rates set forth in said section for the periods therein <br /> designated. <br /> SECTION 3. Employees appointed to positions in the classifi- <br /> cations designated in Section 1 hereof and who are required to work <br /> an eight hour shift commencing between the hours of 3: 00 p.m. and <br /> 6: 00 a.m. shall receive additional compensation in the amount of <br /> 40¢ per hour; provided however, that such additional compensation <br /> shall not be included in computations for overtime or other pay <br /> differentials, except, however, if such employee has worked an eight <br /> hour shift commencing between the aforementioned hours for a period <br /> of at least 30 working days immediately preceding a paid holiday or <br /> the commencement of a vacation or the commencement of a paid sick <br /> leave, said employee shall be compensated at his established rate <br /> of pay plus the above mentioned additional compensation for the <br /> period of such holiday or leave. <br /> SECTION 4. Employees appointed in the classification of <br /> equipment operator who are required to operate the blade, heavy <br /> roller or large crane, shall receive additional compensation in the <br /> amount of 400 per hour for each hour they operate such equipment. <br /> -3- <br />
