<br /> MSR:dp:9/l/78R <br />to any of the products-of-combustion except that <br />devices sensitive only to heat shall not be acceptable. <br />Alarm signaling devices shall be clearly audible in all <br />bedrooms when all intervening doors are closed. The <br />building owner shall be responsible for assuring that <br />the alarm signaling devices required herein shall be <br />maintained in an operable condition. <br /> "'Every such residential building shall conform to <br />the provisions hereof at such time as an addition, <br />alteration or repair of a value in excess of One Thousand <br />Dollars ($1,000.00) is made thereto. I <br />"Section 12.16 Section 15.210 of the Fire Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 15.210 UNDERGROUND: OUTSIDE OF OR UNDER <br />BUILDINGS. ( a) Location. A flammable or combustible <br />liquid storage tank may be located underground, outside <br />of or under a building if such installation meets the <br />requirements of this section. The tank shall be so <br />located with respect to existing foundations and supports <br />that the loads carried by the latter cannot be transmitted <br />to the tank. The distance from any part of a tank storing <br />Class II or III liquid to the nearest wall of any basement, <br />pit, cellar, or property line shall be not less than one <br />foot. The distance from any part of a tank storing Class I <br />liquids to the nearest wall of any basement, pit or cellar <br />shall be not less than one foot, and from any property line <br />that may be built upon, not less than three feet.
