<br /> CGM:dp:12/11/78 <br /> CGM:dp:12/l2/78 <br /> CGM:dp:12/27/78 <br /> CGM:dp:l/3/79 <br /> CGM:dp:l/8/79 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1771 <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.42, 9.81, AND 9.114 OF ORIGINAL <br />AND ADDING SECTION 9.72 TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE Jf\N 2 2 1919 <br />COUNCIL TO ESTABLISH BUILDING FEES, MECHANICAL FEES, <br />PLUMBING FEES, AND ELECTRICAL FEES BY RESOLUTION <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 9.42 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.42. Section 303 of the Building Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 303 <br /> " (a) Building permit fees. The building official shall <br />charge a fee to the person filing an application for such <br />permit, such fee to be paid to the building official at the <br />time of such filing. The fees for such permits shall be <br />established by resolution of the Council. <br /> "The determination of value or valuation under any <br />of the provisions of this Code shall be made by the building <br />official. The valuation to be used in computing the permit <br />and plan review fees shall be the total value of all construc- <br />tion work for which the permit is issued, as well as all <br />finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, <br />air conditioning, elevators, fire-extinguishing systems and <br />any other permanent work or permanent equipment. <br /> "Where work for which a permit is required by this Code <br />is started or proceeded with prior to obtaining said permit, <br />such permit fee shall be doubled, but the payment of such <br />double fee shall not relieve any persons from fully complying <br />with requirements of this Code in the execution of the work <br />nor from any other penalties prescribed herein. <br /> " (b) When plans and specifications or other data are <br />required to be submitted pursuant to subsection (c) of <br /> 1771 <br /> . <br />
