<br /> "2. The building official shall refund not more <br />than 80 percent of the permit fee paid when no work has <br />been done under a permit issued in accordance with this Code. <br /> " 3 . The building official shall refund not more than <br />80 percent of the plan review fee paid when an application <br />for a permit for which a plan review fee has been paid is <br />withdrawn or canceled before any plan reviewing is done. <br /> "The building official shall not refund any fee paid <br />except upon written application filed by the original permittee <br />not later than 180 days after the date of fee payment." <br />SECTION 2. Section 9.81 of the Code of the City of Redwood <br />City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.81. Section 20.7 of the plumbing code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 20.7 <br /> Each applicant for a permit to do work regulated by this <br />code, shall state in writing on the application form provided <br />for that purpose, the character of work proposed to be done <br />and the amount and kind in connection therewith, together <br />with such information, pertinent thereto, as may be required. <br /> Such applicant shall pay to the building official for <br />each permit at the time of issuance a fee established by <br />resolution of the Council. <br /> Any person who shall commence any work for which a permit <br />is required by this code without first having obtained a <br />permit therefor shall, if subsequently permitted to obtain <br />a permit, pay double the permit fee fixed by this section for <br />such work, provided, however, that this provision shall not <br />apply to emergency work when it shall be proved to the satis- <br />faction of the building official that such work was urgently <br /> -3- <br /> ...'~'" <br />
