<br /> MSR: jp: 5/16/78 <br /> I 76 1 ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1761 <br /> --------- - - JUL <br /> 3 1978 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE VI OF CHAPTER 27 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; RELATING TO SANITARY <br />SEWERAGE SERVICE CONNECTION <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Article VI of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City <br />of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"ARTICLE VI. SANITARY SEWERAGE SERVICE CONNECTIONS <br />"Section 27.80. For the purposes of this article, <br />and in addition to the definitions set forth in Section <br />27.11, the following words and phrases shall have the <br />meanings respectively ascribed hereto: <br />" (a) Building Official. The Building Inspector <br /> of the City including his authorized <br /> deputies or representatives; <br />" (b) Director. The Director of the Department <br /> of Public Works of the City, including his <br /> authorized deputies or representatives; <br />" (c) Health Officer. The San Mateo County Director <br /> of Public Health and Welfare including his <br /> authorized deputies or representatives; <br />" (d) Private Sewage Disposal System. A privately <br /> owned, installed and maintained sewage <br /> disposal system, including a septic tank, <br /> cesspool, seepage pit, drainage field or <br /> leaching system, designed to serve private <br /> property and its building occupants for the <br /> sanitary disposal of sewage; <br />" (e) Sewer Laterals. That portion of the <br /> horizontal sewer piping in the public right- <br /> of-way which extends from the public sewerage <br /> facilities to the street property line or <br /> limit of public right-of-way or easement; <br />" (f) Sewer Service Area A. All premises located <br /> within the City, and not located within <br /> sewer service Area B; <br />" (g) Sewer Service Area B. All premises located <br /> within Redwood City General Improvement <br /> District No. 1-64, a general improvement <br /> district duly organized and existing under <br /> the Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> Ordinance (being Ordinance No. 1128, adopted <br /> March 9, 1964, as amended), and all territory <br /> annexed to said District; <br /> 1 761 <br /> -.-.. <br />
