<br />TU, WE, TH, FR, SA' on such sandwich or box lunch, des- <br />ignating the day of intended consumption by punching, <br />perforating, or otherwise marking in a fashion acceptable <br />to the Health Officer the appropriate initials. <br /> "Section 13.52. Consumption Date. No sandwich or <br />box lunch shall be made available for consumption by the <br />public more than 24 hours after the time that such sandwich <br />or box lunch has been prepared, except as provided other- <br />wise hereinbelow. <br /> "Section 13.53. Sandwiches and Box Lunches Exempt <br />from Requirements. The fOllowing sandwiches and box <br />lunches are exempt from the requirements of Section 13.50 <br />and 13. 5l. <br /> " (a) Sandwiches or box lunches kept refrig- <br /> erated at a temperature of 450 F or <br /> below in a freezer or storage locker - <br /> other than a vending machine - located <br /> at a fixed place, from whence such <br /> sandwiches or box lunches are sold, given, <br /> or distributed to the public. <br /> " (b) Sandwiches or box lunches kept in and <br /> dispensed from vending machines with <br /> proper refrigeration facilities which <br /> maintain a temperature of 450 F or below. <br /> "Section 13.54. Consumption Date and Code Dating of <br />Exempt Categories of Sandwiches and Box Lunches. Sandwiches <br />and box lunches of the categories described in Section 13.53 <br />shall be prepared, and made available, for consumption by <br />the public only for such length of time as the Health <br />Officer shall approve by rule or regulation. All such <br />sandwiches and box lunches shall bear in a code approved <br />by the Health Officer the date by which such sandwich must <br />either be consumed or destroyed. <br /> "Section 13.55. Dating of Foods Intended to be <br />Heated.
