<br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> Letter Permit <br /> DRAFT <br />Ms. Julie Kernan <br />RhodyCo Productions <br />3929 California Street <br />San Francisco, CA 94118 <br />Re: San Francisco Chronicle's Tour De Peninsula <br />Dear Ms. Kernan: <br />The City Council on XXX 1994, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting Tha <br />San Francisco Chronicle and RhodyCo Productions to conduct the Tour De Peninsula <br />bicycle ride in Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions herein. <br />The permission herein is granted to The San Francisco Chronicle and RhodyCo <br />Productions (hereinafter called "Permittee") to conduct the Tour De Peninsula. This <br />permit is sUbject to the following terms and conditions: <br />1. Name of Event: The "Tour De Peninsula" shall be sponsored and conducted by the <br /> Permittee. <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revOKed at any time without cause by the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br />3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Brewster (bIt <br /> Sequoia High School and Alameda); Lexington (bit Sequoia High School and <br /> Jefferson); Jefferson (bit Lexington and Farm Hill Blvd.); and Farm Hill Blvd. (bIt <br /> Jefferson and Canada Road). Please refer to the attached map <br />5. Date and Time: The "Tour De Peninsula" shall be conducted on Sunday, August 7, <br /> 1994 with a set-up time of 5:00 A.M. The event will begin at 8:00 A.M. The event <br /> will end by 11 :00 A.M. and the course will be completely cleared by Noon. <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the ~Tour De Peninsula" taking place in the <br /> public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area <br /> designated by the Chief of Polic9- If the Chief of Police determines that the <br /> provision of Police Officers is required for the control of traffic in connection with <br /> said "Tour De Peninsula", the Permittee agrees to pay for the cost of the officers. <br /> 1 <br /> ¡. <br />
