Task 2. Recommendations <br />Task 2.1. Draft Recommendations <br />Consultant will prepare a draft set of recommendations that clearly convey a set of <br />proposed improvements in a graphically compelling, easily understandable format. The <br />recommendations will be comprehensive, including all potential improvements based on <br />the findings of the walk and bike audits. Recommended improvements will follow <br />standard CA MUTCD and Caltrans Highway Design Manual standards, and incorporate <br />innovative or experimental treatments as appropriate. <br />Consultant will submit a summary list of potential improvements and a map <br />documenting conceptual improvements to the City and school district for review. <br />Task Deliverables <br />Draft recommendations <br />Task 2.2. Final Recommendations <br />Based on a single set of consolidated comments, Consultant will develop a final <br />conceptual improvement plan and develop planning -level cost estimates for <br />recommended improvements. <br />Task Deliverables <br />• Final conceptual improvement plans for four school sites (Taft, Hoover, Garfield, <br />Selby Lane) with planning -level cost estimates. <br />Task 2.3. Technical Memorandum <br />Consultant will summarize all of the materials developed in into a final technical <br />memorandum.
