Redwood City Public Works Services <br />Customer Water Use Portal RFP 1 <br />1.Introduction <br />Redwood City is seeking a provider to implement a hosted customer portal solution that offers <br />complete functionality for our water utility customers. The customer portal must integrate tightly <br />with our internal Utility Billing System (Universe), as well as our 3rd party payment processor <br />(InfoSend). It must also integrate with our current Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) Meter Data <br />Management System (MDMS) to display interval data and deliver customized alerts. The customer <br />portal must be mobile-friendly, and geared towards water utility specific business processes and <br />functions to meet the needs of approximately 25,000 utility accounts. <br />2.Attachments <br />The attachment below is included with this Request for Proposal (RFP) for your review. <br />Attachment A Customer Portal Requirements <br />Attachment B Water Budget Methodolgy <br />3.Instructions to Proposers <br />3.1. Questions Regarding the RFP <br />Should discrepancies or omissions be found in this RFP or should there be a need to <br />clarify this RFP, questions regarding this RFP must be submitted to the City in writing <br />and received by the City no later than Friday, September 23, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. PDT. <br />For Questions regarding the RFP Correspondence shall be addressed to: <br />City of Redwood City <br />Public Works Department <br />Attn: Justin Chapel <br />1400 Broadway St. <br />Redwood City CA 94063 <br />or emailed to jchapel@redwoodcity.org <br />Responses from the City will be communicated in writing to all interested parties of this <br />RFP. Inquiries received after the date and time stated will not be accepted. All accepted <br />questions shall become a part of this RFP. The City shall not be responsible for nor be <br />bound by any oral instructions, interpretations or explanations issued by the City or its <br />representatives. <br />3.2. Examination of Proposal Documents <br />The submission of a Proposal shall be deemed a representation and certification by the <br />Proposer that they: <br />•Have carefully read and fully understand the information that was provided by <br />the City to serve as the basis for submission of this Proposal; <br />•Have the capability to successfully undertake and complete the responsibilities <br />and obligations of the Proposal being submitted; <br />6.1.E. - Page 43
