ATTY/RESO.0056/CC RESO TO APPOINT PAMELA AGUILAR TO CITY CLERK <br />REV: 06-07-17 VR <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPOINTING PAMELA AGUILAR TO THE POSITION OF CITY <br />CLERK OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (“City”) has a need to hire a City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pamela Aguilar (“City Clerk”) possesses the skills and expertise <br />necessary to perform these services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an Employment Agreement to set forth <br />the terms and conditions of City Clerk’s duties as City Clerk. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City, as appointing authority, hereby appoints Pamela Aguilar as City Clerk and <br />approves the Employment Agreement Between City of Redwood City and Pamela Aguilar <br />in substantially the same form attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and authorizes and directs <br />the Mayor to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the _____ day <br />of______________, 2017, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />_________________________ <br />John D.
