<br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Council may choose not to approve the Agreement with the JPB for safety <br />improvements at the subject highway-rail crossings in Redwood City. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact to the City by this action other than the cost of the waived fees <br />and continued maintenance of the improvements within the City’s right-of-way. There <br />will be no significant additional maintenance required by the proposed improvements. <br />The work of this project is entirely funded by the JPB and the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> The JPB is the project administrator and lead agency for environmental review.
