<br /> Exhibit "A" <br /> DRAFT <br /> Mr. Brent Cromley, Jr. <br /> 500 Oracle Parkway <br /> Box 659503 <br /> Redwood City, CA 94065 <br /> Re: "RUN ORACLE WORLDWIDE" <br /> Dear Mr. Cromley, <br /> The City Council on XXXX, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br /> Oracle Corporation to conduct the "RUN ORACLE WORLDWIDE" in Redwood <br /> City, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> The permission herein is granted to the Oracle Corporation to conduct the "RUN <br /> ORACLE WORLDWIDE". This permit is subject to the following terms and <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Name of Event: The "RUN ORACLE WORLDWIDE" shall be sponsored and <br /> conducted by the Permittee. <br /> 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br /> 3. Non-transferability: This permit is nontransferable. <br /> 4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Oracle <br /> Parkway, Marine Parkway, Shell Parkway, and Twin Dolphin Drive. Please <br /> refer to the attached maps, <br /> 5. Date and Time: The "RUN ORACLE WORLDWIDE" shall be conducted on <br /> Sunday, June 26, 1994 with a set-up time of 6:00 AM. The event will begin <br /> at 8:30 AM. The event will end by 10:00 AM. and the course will be <br /> completely cleared by 11 :00 AM. <br /> 6. Course Control: Those portions of the uRUN ORACLE WORLDWIDE" taking <br /> place in the public right of way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to <br /> that area designated by the Chief of Police.
