7. Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its council, boards, commissions, officers, employees, volunteers and agents AND the Port of Redwood City, its Board, commissions, officers employees, volunteers and agents as insureds, or additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of Permittee in connection therewith. The following requirements regarding insurance must be met: *Certificates of insurance AND declaration pages must both be provided. *Claim insurance policies are not acceptable. Only "occurrence" basis policies are acceptable. *Your insurance coverage must state that your insurance is primary. *The insurer must be "admitted" in California and must be satisfactorily rated by AM. Best & Company. (A rating of A: VII would be acceptable). *The coverage shall be no less that $1,000,000 per person and $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Property damage insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use thereof, shall be in the amount of $500,000. *Deductible or SIR shall not exceed $100,000. "'Evidence of such insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by the permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. 8. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs for any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated route, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the "RUN BY THE BAY" permitted hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, including the public right of way in connection with the "RUN BY THE BAY", shall be removed immediately following said event. 9. Compliance \f\/ith Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and applicable rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition to all other permits which are or may be required for conducting the "RUN BY THE BAY" or any associated activity. ... - ....~."....".....
