<br /> 7. Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property damage <br /> insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its council, boards, commissions, officers, <br /> employees, volunteers and agents AND the Port of Redwood City, its Board, <br /> commissions, officers employees, volunteers and agents as insureds, or additional <br /> insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or death to any person <br /> or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the activities herein permitted, or <br /> alleged to have resulted or alleged to have arisen therefrom, or from any act or <br /> omission to act, of Permittee in connection therewith. <br /> The following requirements regarding insurance must be met: <br /> *Certificates of insurance AND declaration pages must both be provided. <br /> *Claim insurance policies are not acceptable. Only "occurrence" basis policies are <br /> acceptable. <br /> *Your insurance coverage must state that your insurance is primary. <br /> *The insurer must be "admitted" in California and must be satisfactorily rated by AM. <br /> Best & Company. (A rating of A: VII would be acceptable). <br /> *The coverage shall be no less that $1,000,000 per person and $2,000,000 in the <br /> aggregate. Property damage insurance for damage or injury to, or destruction of <br /> property, including the loss of use thereof, shall be in the amount of $500,000. <br /> *Deductible or SIR shall not exceed $100,000. <br /> "'Evidence of such insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City shall be <br /> furnished by the permittee to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of <br /> the event. <br /> 8. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs for any <br /> damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated route, caused by or <br /> arising out of the conducting of the "RUN BY THE BAY" permitted hereunder, or the <br /> acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other <br /> markings placed in or upon public property, including the public right of way in <br /> connection with the "RUN BY THE BAY", shall be removed immediately following said <br /> event. <br /> 9. Compliance \f\/ith Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and applicable <br /> rules, regulations and laws in connection with the conducting of said event, or any <br /> activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition to all other permits which <br /> are or may be required for conducting the "RUN BY THE BAY" or any associated <br /> activity. <br /> ... <br /> - <br /> ....~."...."..... <br />
