REPORT <br /> <br />June 26, 2017 <br />SUBJECT <br />Agreement for Professional Services with LSA for environmental consulting services for <br />the Kaiser Medical Office Building 2 Project <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for <br />environmental consulting services with LSA for the preparation of a Supplemental <br />Environmental Impact Report in accordance with the California Environmental Quality <br />Act for the Kaiser Medical Office Building 2 Project <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />Kaiser Foundation Hospitals has <br />Building 2 (MOB2) Project at <br />Maple. This property is located in <br />Plan) area which includes several blocks g <br />Main Street and Marshall Street. <br />Environmental Impact Report in 2003. <br /> <br />The Kaiser Plan provides the vision, goals, development standards and design <br />guidelines for redevelopment of the Kaiser campus. The Plan <br />buildout of the site, including a new hospital building (approved in 2010) and four new <br />medical office buildings with a total campus square footage of up to 959,300 square <br />feet. Several new parking structures are also anticipated. Building heights are generally <br />limited to 60 feet or 4-5 stories. <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Agreement for Professional Services with LSA for environmental consulting services for <br />the Kaiser Medical Office Building 2 Project at 1175 Marshall Street <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement for <br />environmental consulting services with LSA for the preparation of a Supplemental <br />Environmental Impact Report in accordance with the California Environmental Quality <br />aiser Medical Office Building 2 Project at 1175 Marshall Street <br />Kaiser Foundation Hospitals has submitted an application for its new <br />at 1175 Marshall Street, on the corner of Marshall and <br />located in the Downtown Medical Campus Precise Plan <br />which includes several blocks generally bounded by Veterans Boulevard, <br />Main Street and Marshall Street.
