OTHER PARKS AND RECREATION FEES <br />While the focus of this study was primarily rental facilities and picnic rentals, the <br />project team did discuss with Parks and Recreation staff other fees and services that <br />are provided to residents. This discussion not only included the types of services (pools, <br />skate park, tennis courts, classes, etc.) but also discussion regarding the methodology <br />for setting these fees. The Department currently reviews and sets these fees annually <br />based upon any cost increases for those services, actual contract costs, as well as by <br />conducting a market survey of other local jurisdictions for these services. This <br />methodology is in compliance with best management practices for setting and adopting <br />Parks and Recreation fees. <br /> <br />7.A. - Page 44
