The City also has the requirement to <br />conduct NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) for its storm water <br />system permit. Inspections are current conducted by the County of San Mateo on behalf <br />of Redwood City, and if the City chooses to do those inspections it should assess an <br />hourly inspection fee based on the rate outlined in the table above. Implementing this <br />fee structure will allow the City to recover the costs associated with providing these <br />services. <br />2. EV CHARGING STATONS <br /> The City of Redwood City has implemented Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations <br />around the city to enable electric car owners to charge their cars. There are currently <br />seven different locations within Redwood City that have electrical vehicle charging <br />stations – Red Morton Community Center, Marshall Garage, Jefferson Garage, <br />Redwood Shores Library, Veterans Memorial Senior Center, Main Library, and Public <br />Works. All of these locations come equipped with a Level II Charger, but only two <br />locations – Marshall Garage and Redwood Shores Library have a DC Fast Charger <br />Charging Station. Overall there are 24 electrical charging parking spaces within the City <br />limits. <br /> <br />3 The $60 is currently a flat fee. <br />7.A. - Page 48
