Presentation of Proclamation to Arts Council of <br />San Mateo County <br />Vice Mayor LaBerge presented proclamation to Jennifer Clark who accepted <br />on behalf of the Arts Council of San Mateo County. Oliver Reddington of the <br />Redwood City Civic Cultural Committee invited everyone to attend Families in <br />Arts day, March 4, 1989. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />Special Presentation <br />Council presented a framed Times Tribune feature story about Art Balsamo to <br />him and thanked him for his volunteer support services to the Council and to <br />Redwood City. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />3. Public Hearing - Application for Certificate of Public convenience and <br />Necessity for two taxi cab permits - Mehdi K. Baroumand and Manoochehr Golkar <br />European Taxi Company, Inc. (1602 -06) <br />(continued from 1/23/89) <br />Affidavit of Publication and Notice of Hearing is on file. <br />Mayor Greenalch asked anyone who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to <br />speak. <br />M /S: Claire /Stangel to close the public hearing.
