David Valcenaar, stated bicycle facilitation and accommodation should be planned in all current and <br /> future developments. <br /> <br />Barbara Pierce, 1028 Eden Bower Lane, encouraged support of cultural activities and look to how <br />we can make every dollar count. She noted developing cultural awareness is working in our schools. <br /> <br />Pat Dixon 16 Admiralty Place, commented that any housing committees should be appointed with <br />people who are going to have to live in them. <br /> <br />Recess- 10:23 a.m. Reconvene-10:55 a.m. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of Council that a sub-committee be fomied comprised of Council Members <br />Jordan, Hartnett and Ruskin, to evaluate all City committees with a recommendation to Council by <br />mid April study session. MEMO 1/26/99 <br /> <br />The City Manager and Department Heads provided brief answers to Council's previous questions. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued regarding possible planning sessions for general plan amendment <br />including a visioning process, deferment of Council consideration until after Council sub-committee <br />on committees review recommendation (to include possible Regional transportation Committee, <br />Land Visioning Task Force and Budget Review commission) is received by Council in April, and <br />reaffirmation of current Council priorities; with the addition of No. 11) Franklin Area housing Plan, <br /> <br />M/S HartnetVIra to adjourn this meeting. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />3.
