B. Bob Burkhart, 3081 Ross Road, Palo Alto advised Council he is planning to <br />buy the LaCopa property at 3158 Rollison Road and is concerned that liquor <br />sales from the convenience store being planned for the old G1owWorm property <br />at 3118 Rollison will bring significant problems to that area. Mayor <br />Greenalch advised that Councilman Bury would be addressing this issue under <br />Matters of Council Interest. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />A. Councilwoman Buchan on 3/18 attended the meeting of the Joint North Fair <br />Oaks Task Force and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors and reported <br />that the new part -time code enforcement officer has already issued 35 <br />citations since 3/27/89. <br />B. Councilman Bury reported on current plans for the 3000 block of Rollison Road <br />and asked if the Mayor would direct staff to (1) prepare an interim <br />ordinance, as an urgency measure, prohibiting any uses which may be in <br />conflict with the contemplated rezoning of the area; and (2) place on the <br />next Council agenda consideration of the ordinance and consideration of a <br />motion to initiate proceedings to place the affected property in an I.S. <br />(interim study) zoning district. Mayor Greenalch requested staff to do so. <br />MEMO 4/26/89 <br />C.
