Operation of this system would be conducted under DTSC oversight. <br /> <br />Refer to Chapter 1, Project Description, for a more detailed description of the proposed project. <br /> <br />9. Surrounding Land Uses and Setting: The project site is located in a developed area and is <br />surrounded primarily by light industrial and commercial uses within unincorporated San Mateo <br />County. <br /> <br />10. Other agencies whose approval is required: The County of San Mateo and DTSC are <br />Responsible Agencies and will also review the environmental document. A Conditional Use <br />Permit from the County is also required to allow the school use. DTSC will oversee <br />implementation of the Work Plan and operation of the sub-slab depressurization system.
