" CITY OF REDWOOD CITY STORM STATION FLAP GATE REPAIR SERVICES REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL September 2004 Dear Prospective Service Contractors: The City of Redwood City is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide services to repair, replacement and / or installation of storm pump station flap gates. Enclosed is the proposal form. The contract is to provide for any and all labor, travel time and expenses, and equipment necessary to perform the work. Failure to use the format provided will result in the proposal being deemed incomplete. Proposals should be completed and delivered in a sealed envelope to the City of Redwood City, Public Works Services Department, located at 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 clearly marked "REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: STORM PUMP STATION FLAP GATE REPAIR & REPLACEMENT SERVICES" no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004. (No facsimile or electronicallv submitted proposals will be accepted.) The City can extend this contract for one (1) consecutive year at the same terms, conditions, and prices. The extension may be exercised by the City Manager in writing. The extension will be based upon satisfactory review of the contractor's performance, the City's needs, and the appropriation of funds by the City Council. A sample of the Agreement is included as an attachment to this RFP. The City of Redwood City reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal or any part or portion there of or any combination of services, and further reserves the right to waive any informality or honest clerical error in any proposal.
