<br /> City of Redwood City <br /> 1400 Broadway <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063-2594 <br /> PROPOSAL INFORMATION <br />Notice to Contractors <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Redwood City, <br />located at 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September· <br />15,2004, for furnishing any and all labor, equipment, materials, and other items necessary to do <br />the following: <br /> UTILITY SYSTEMS PUMP REPAIR SERVICES <br />Incurrinq Costs <br />The City is not liable for any cost incurred by a firm responding to this Request for Proposal. <br />Proposals Content and Evaluation <br />Proposals will be evaluated to ascertain which proposal will best meet the needs of the City. The <br />City selection will be based solely on the content provided in the proposal. All proposals should <br />contain information which best explains the firms experience and performance in providing the <br />requested services. Proposals should respond to the follow evaluation considerations will <br />include the following: <br />1. Responsiveness of the proposal in clearly demonstrating an understanding of the City's <br /> objectives and the ability to meet the City's needs. <br /> a. Familiar with pumps in City's systems <br /> b. Ability to recondition and service pumps efficiently and return them to service <br /> c. Firm's average turnaround for pump servicing <br /> d. Ability to respond quickly to emergency needs <br />2. Cost - although a significant factor, may not be the dominant factor; cost is particularly <br /> important when all the other evaluation criteria are relatively equal. <br />3. Technical expertise of the firm and those assigned to the work, particularly experience in <br /> repair and reconditioning of the pump brands (manufacturer) named above. <br /> a. Experience servicing and reconditioning pumps by specific manufacturer. <br /> b. Identify if you are an authorized distributor for any manufacturers of the pumps in <br /> the City's systems <br /> c. Provide a list of clients serviced over the past three years <br />4. Demonstrate ability to effectively work with City staff and representatives, evaluated <br /> primarily through reference checks and client list. <br />Assjqnment <br />No agreement, nor any duties or obligations resulting from this proposal may be assigned by <br /> ~_,..">___,.,ü.."".._,.....<.·~,.... <br />
