3. Mayor's Beautification Awards (301 -17) <br />Vice Mayor La Berge and Councilwoman Judy Buchan thanked the Awards judges, <br />Mayor Greenalch, Tamara Puille, Susan Swope and Virginia Ball, and presented <br />the Mayor's Beautification Awards to the following: <br />a. Best New Residential Construction, Janie and Dan Mercado <br />904 Lakeview <br />b. Most Beautiful Home, Pat and Ken Koral <br />1716 Kentucky <br />c. Most Improved Residential, Judy and Mike Cocco <br />264 Elwood <br />d. Best Remodeling, Mr. and Mrs. J. Arthur White <br />148 Myrtle <br />e. Most Innovative, Human Investment Project, Mr. Leon Rosenthal <br />508 Pine Street <br />f. Best Compatible Building and General Landscaping, Human Investment <br />Project, Mr. Leon Rosenthal, 508 Pine Street <br />g. Best Maintained General Landscaping, Beacon Shores, Mary and Joe Barrios <br />Newport Circle <br />h. Best Low Water Usage General Landscaping, Carmen and Kevin Lapp <br />1096 Connecticut Drive <br />Vice Mayor LaBerge encouraged the recipients of the Mayor's Beautification <br />Awards to display a specially designed lawn sign announcing their awards. <br />City staff will be available to install the signs. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />4. PUBLIC HEARING - Application of Dino Fry and Pat <br />Corcoran to rezone the 3000 and 3100 block of <br />Rolison Road from "CG" (General Commercial) to <br />"IR" (Industrial Restricted) District (203-02) <br />Report: Planning Commission, June 19, 1989 <br />Mayor Greenalch declared the Public Hearing open at 7 :52 p.m. and invited <br />anyone who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. <br />M /S: Stangel /Murray to close the Public Hearing. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote and Public Hearing closed at 7:53 p.m. <br />Title read.
