3. PUBLIC HEARING - Seaport Centre Maintenance District <br />regarding assessment continued open from earlier this <br />evening. (409 -02) <br />Report: City Attorney, 7/20/89 <br />City Engineer Curt Luck presented the staff report and the revised assessment. <br />Iris Gai, Project Manager, representing Seaport Centre Venture, Seaport Centre <br />Venture Phase I, Phase II and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company who own <br />property affected by the assessment, addressed the Council requesting a <br />reduction of the assessment. <br />After discussion Council suggested $48,000 as an appropriate assessment for <br />fiscal year 1989/90 which was accepted by Iris Gai and the protest was waived. <br />M /S: Stangel /Murray to close the public hearing. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote and public hearing closed at 11:43 p.m. <br />Affidavits of publication and posting are on file. <br />Title read.
