For Peninsula #1, <br />mechanical, structural, and electrical plans will be prepared as appropriate to describe the work <br />involved. <br />No mechanical or piping plans will be prepared for any tanks other than Easter Cross or Peninsula #1. <br />Any piping modifications required for the demolition of the other tanks will be designed and <br />constructed by the City forces. <br />The staffing estimate presented as Exhibit B assumes that the new Easter Cross Tank will be a <br />welded steel tank. If a reinforced concrete tank is the option selected during the Schematic Design <br />Phase, then structural engineering and designer time both need to be increased by 16 hours. The <br />landscape design services are limited to those specified in Exhibit A-1 which is a letter proposal from <br />Ron Benoit Associates dated 30 November 1995. <br />The appropriate technical specifications and special conditions will be provided as well as a bid <br />schedule and appropriate cost estimate. <br />BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION REVIEW SERVICES <br />Only limited bidding and construction review services will be provided. Included are: <br />· Providing clarification to the City only, and not contractors, during the Bidding Phase <br />· Providing submittal review assistance to the City <br />· Providing clarifications, including field reviews if required, to the City during construction. <br />Services in this phase will be limited to a maximum of 24 hours of a project manager's time or $2,900, <br />whichever is greater. <br /> 4 <br /> .--- <br />
