<br /> EXHIBIT E <br /> INSURANCE <br /> METRlCOM, at METRlCOM's sole cost and expense, shall procure and maintain for the <br /> duration of this AGREEMENT, including any extensions of this AGREEMENT and during the <br /> period that METRIC OM is performing any work upon the expiration or earlier termination of this <br /> AGREEMENT to remove the RADIO REPEATERS from CITY property, insurance against claims <br /> for injuries to persons or damages to property which may arise from, or in connection with, the <br /> performance of the work or provision of SERVICES hereunder by METRICOM, its agents, <br /> representatives, employees or subcontractors. <br /> A. METRIC OM and any contractor retained by METRIC OM to perform services under this <br /> AGREEMENT, shall furnish the CITY City Attorney's Office with certificates of insurance <br /> evidencing the insurance coverage. These certificates shall specify or be endorsed to <br /> provide that thirty (30) days' prior notice must be given, in writing, to the CITY of any <br /> pending change in the limits of liability or of any cancellation or modification of the <br /> policy(ies). <br /> Insurance specifications, endorsements and exclusions shall be in accordance with Section <br /> 48 of the City's Standards and Specifications, "General Conditions," except for <br /> subparagraph (e) and the deductible limitations of subparagraph (t). General requirements <br /> specified as follows: <br /> 1. Workers' Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance <br /> METRICOM and any contractor retained by METRIC OM performing services <br /> pursuant to this AGREEMENT shall have in effect during the entire life of this <br /> AGREEMENT, Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance <br /> providing full statutory coverage, or be permissibly self-insured. <br /> 2. Liability Insurance <br /> METRIC OM and any contractor retained by METRlCOM to perform services upon <br /> the Project shall take out and maintain during the performance of work on the <br /> Project, Comprehensive General Liabìlìty or Commercial General Liability, <br /> Property Damage Liability and/or Self Insurance as shall protect it while performing <br /> services upon the Project. <br /> Contractors and/or subcontractors shall maintain limits no less than: <br /> (a) General Liability: $1,000,000 combined single limit per occurrence for <br /> bodily injury, personal injury and property damage. . <br /> (b) Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident for <br /> redwood3.doc 19 <br /> 9/20/95 · <br /> r <br />
