<br /> GRANT OF REVOCABLE PERMIT OR\G\N~l <br /> FOR <br /> OPERATION OF ALERT WEATHER STATION <br /> (1400 BROADWAY AVENUE) <br /> Pursuant to the provision of Resolution No. J J.7~ ') of the Council of the" <br />City of Redwood City, adopted (V\ ~'ð ').2 , 1996, permission is hereby <br />granted to the U. S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, NATIONAL OCEANIC <br />and ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE, <br />("Permittee"), to occupy and use a portion of the property located at 1400 <br />Broadway, Redwood City, California ("Subject Premises"), owned by the City of <br />Redwood City ("City") and described in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> This permit is granted subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. Authority. The Permittee undertakes the execution of this Revocable <br />Permit pursuant to its authority under 15 U.S.C. 313 and 15 U.S.C. 1525 in order <br />to carry out its function related to weather forecasts and warnings. <br /> 2. Use of the Subiect Premises. The Subject Premises shall be used <br />for the installation, operation, and maintenance of an Alert Weather Station and <br />related radio transmitter. <br /> 3. Occupancy: Permit Revocable. Subject to City's and Permittee's <br />respective right to revoke this permit as hereinafter specified, Permittee may <br />occupy and use the Subject Premises hereunder subject to the terms and <br />conditions herein stated. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this permit does not <br />constitute a deed, grant of easement, lease, conveyance, or transfer of any <br />Grant-4 1 <br />FXS:rg <br />05/10/96 <br /> -" <br />
