6.1.A. - Page 1 <br />REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />July 24, 2017 <br />SUBJECT <br />Amendment No. 2 to Amend Agreement for Professional Services with Dyett & Bhatia <br />for the preparation of the EI Camino Real Corridor Plan <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the <br />Professional Services Agreement with Dyett & Bhatia in the amount of $32,534, for a <br />total contract amount of $284,138, for the preparation of the EI Camino Real Corridor <br />Plan <br />BACKGROUND <br />On January 11, 2016, the City Council authorized the contract with Dyett & Bhatia <br />(consultant) for the preparation of the EI Camino Real Corridor Plan in the total amount <br />of $195,604, and gave authority to the City Manager to augment the scope of the <br />agreement up to $60,000 for additional community outreach and transportation analysis. <br />On February 3, 2016, the City Manager executed Amendment No. 1 to the Professional <br />Services Agreement with the consultant in the amount of $56,000, for a total contract <br />amount of $251,604, to amend the scope of work by providing additional community <br />outreach and transportation analysis in the preparation of the EI Camino Real Corridor <br />Plan. <br />The City has worked closely with the consultant and completed approximately 60% of <br />the Corridor Plan. Major tasks competed to date include: <br />1. Existing Conditions Reports <br />o Executive Summary <br />o Land Use, Streetscape, and Public Realm <br />o Real Estate Market <br />o Transportation <br />2. Communitv engagement and outreach includinq_: <br />o Community Advisory Group meetings (5) <br />o Community Workshops (2) <br />o Stakeholder Interviews <br />o Presentations to various Committees, Commissions, Boards, Advisory <br />Groups, and agencies <br />
