2. Contractor will ensure the equipment's HDCP setting is configured 6.1.G. - Page 28 <br />Apple (MAC OS) based devices to pass video. Contractor will test all AV inputs <br />with an Apple (MAC OS) computer issued within the last two (2) years. <br />B. All uncompiled control code, configuration files, software and any other programming - <br />related files are to be delivered to The City of Redwood City. All devices which require <br />password protected access to programming code or said devices functionality are to <br />remain set to the default password/access code until directed by PM as to the desired <br />password. <br />C. Validation — At the request of the PM, Contractor must either facilitate an inspection <br />of the fabrication facility, or provide photographic and written documentation that <br />the physical installation and pre- construction conditions have been satisfied, as <br />specified above. THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT TO BE DELIVERED TO THE JOBSITE WITHOUT <br />APPROVAL FROM THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br />13 Execution <br />13.1 INSTALLATION <br />A. System Installation: <br />1. After award of the contract, and within the time period specified in the agreement, <br />Contractor shall deliver the system in a manner that fully complies with the <br />requirements of this specification. Contractor shall make no substitutions or <br />changes in the system without written approval. Contractor shall ensure that the <br />installation personnel understand all the requirements of this specification. <br />2. Contractor shall install all systems to comply with NFPA 70, National Electric Code <br />2010 recommendations, guidelines, and directives, in a manner which complies <br />with accepted industry standards of good practice. Contractor shall comply with <br />the requirements of this specification in a manner which does not constitute a life <br />or physical safety hazard.All passive equipment shall be connected according to <br />the original equipment manufacturers' specifications to insure correct fill <br />termination, isolation, impedance match, and signal level balance. <br />3. Install all equipment for each location identified herein and as specified on the <br />drawings. <br />B. Equipment and Materials: <br />1. Each item of equipment to be supplied under this specification shall be new and <br />the current model of a standard product of an original equipment manufacturer <br />of record. An original equipment manufacturer of record shall be defined as a <br />company whose main occupation is the manufacture for sale of the items of <br />equipment supplied and which: <br />a. Maintains a factory production line for the item submitted. <br />b. Maintains a stock of replacement parts for the item submitted. <br />C. Maintains engineering drawings, specifications, and operating manuals for <br />the items submitted. <br />d.
