The survey results are: <br />• Surveys were sent to the 18 properties on Fernside Street, McGarvey to <br />Roosevelt <br />• Twelve surveys were returned (67% response rate) <br />• Nine residents supported speed humps, one had no opinion, and two were <br />opposed. (75% support) <br />With the support for speed humps above the 60 percent required, staff took the <br />recommendation for the installation of two new speed humps on Fernside Street to the <br />Complete Streets Advisory Committee (CSAC) on June 13, 2017. The CSAC approved <br />the recommendation with a vote of five members in favor, one opposed, and one <br />absent. <br />Fire Department Coordination <br />As mentioned above, Fernside Street is a primary response route for emergency <br />responders.
