Box 391
Redwood City, CA 94064

RE: Status of Airport Land Use and Safety Study Services for Electronic Arts
Headquarters Master Plan

Dear Mr. Passanisi:

As you know, P&D Consultants has spent many hours in researching the proposed
project and developing information in response to issues raised by airport users and
community concerns. As a result, we believe the study is one of the most comprehen-
sive and thorough reports done on this subject. This is borne out by the FAA's recent
finding of "no hazard" with respect to the proposed project. However, as of June 13,
1996, P&D has incurred approximately $17,300.00 in extra work and expenses related
to this project over and above the currently authorized project budget of $45,000.00.

As we have discussed previously, and in recognition of the accelerated time schedule
for the subject project, P&D has undertaken extra work and incurred additional ex-
penses in responding to the City's needs on this project. As a result of this extra work,
P&D must request an adjustment to its project budget in the amount of $30,000.00.
This amount should be sufficient to cover the cost of P&D's services through the cur-
rent Planning Commission hearings and the upcoming City Council hearing.

Thank you for your consideration. Please call me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

P&D AVIATION
A Division of P&D Con

,Sfß
.
v ,
Michael .
