PLANN;j'JG C·; ',' ¡.:~., <br /> <br />-.....--.,------_. <br /> <br /> <br />RE: PROPOSAL FOR SITE PLAN REVIEW AND NOISE AND SAFETY <br />STUDY/SAN CARLOS AIRPORT <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Passanisi: <br /> <br />P&D Consultants is pleased to provide you with this proposal to evaluate the <br />aviation safety and noise and land use compatibility components of the proposed <br />Electronic Arts development project, located approximately one-half mile north of <br />the San Carlos Airport in Redwood City, California. <br /> <br />Our proposed scope of work is designed to objectively analyze issues of airport <br />safety, aircraft noise, and land use compatibility related to the proposed project, <br />and to gain an understanding of and respond to issues raised by the San Mateo <br />County Department of Public Works and the California Pilots Association. Our <br />proposed work scope and estimate of the costs involved are set forth below: <br /> <br /> <br />I Scope of Work I <br /> <br /> <br />The following proposed scope of work is structured to objectively analyze the <br />proposed project within the context of existing local, state and Federal airport <br />safety guidelines, and noise and land use compatibility criteria: <br /> <br /> <br />Task 1. -- Review and Analvze CLUP/Site Plan <br /> <br />Description. P&D will review and analyze the current San Carlos Airport <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and supporting documentation (including <br />the San Carlos Airport Master Plan, Airport Layout Plan, and related documents) <br />to assess potential project compatibility and conformity with the CLUP. Issues to <br />be analyzed will include potential spfety hazards, overflight, and density <br /> <br />~ <br />
