<br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> MODIFIED FAST PITCH OFFICIATING SERVICES <br /> ? <br /> AGREEMENT, entered into this ~_day of ~~Tð/7i" 6>;'<.,1996, <br /> between the PENINSULA SPORTS OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION, hereinafter <br /> called "Contractor" and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation <br /> of the State of California, hereinafter called "City": <br /> IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants, agreements, and <br /> conditions contained herein, the undersigned do agree as follows: <br /> 1. Contractor agrees to furnish, diligently and faithfully, services to <br /> the City, commencing September 9,1996, and terminating on November 1, <br /> 1996, <br /> Said services to be as follows: <br /> To provide, select and schedule umpires for all <br /> softball games in the following Fall Modified Fast Pitch League <br /> LEAG1JES GAMES <br /> Modified 74 <br /> and to perform other work related and incidental thereto, including such <br /> additional work as may be prescribed by the City Manager. <br /> 2. In the performance of such work it is expressly understood that <br /> Contractor is an independent contractor and shall not be considered to be <br /> an employee of City for any purpose. <br /> 3. It is understood that the purpose of this contract is to facilitate <br /> ,-- <br />
