In the performance of such work, it is expressly understood that <br /> Association is an independent contractor and shall not be considered <br /> to be an employee of City for any purpose. <br /> 3. It is understood that the purpose of this contract is to facilitate and to <br /> provide a convenient means for the administration of the individual activities of <br /> Association's members, and for the disbursement of by City to individual members <br /> of Association for the mutual benefit of the parties hereto. Therefore, no monetary <br /> consideration shall be payable to Association for Association's services rendered <br /> hereunder except the sum of Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($200.00) for <br /> administrative services. <br /> 4. It is further understood and agreed that payment by City to Association for <br /> the hereinafter designated individual services shall be at the rates set forth <br /> immediately across therefrom: <br /> RA TES <br /> All Slow Pitch Leagues $19.75per game/ <br /> (2 umpires per game) per umpIre <br /> (Note: Umpires shall receive $21.75 per game if only one <br /> game is scheduled on a particular date.) <br /> All sums disbursed to Association hereunder, except the aforementioned <br /> administrative services sum of Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($200.00), shall be <br /> held in trust by Association and distributed to Association's individual members as <br /> compensation for their respective individual services rendered at the above rates. It <br /> is understood and agreed that in no event shall the total amount to be paid by City <br /> for all individual services to be rendered by Association's members exceed Twenty <br /> Seven Thousand One Hundred and Thirty Six Dollars and 50/100 Dollars <br /> . ,.
