<br /> Personal Business Leave: Contract Employee will receive one (1) paid personal <br /> business leave day per year which shall be available after six (6) months of service, and is <br /> deducted from sick leave. Unused personal business leave is not carried forward from one <br /> year to the next. <br /> Vacation Leave: Vacation leave shall commence to accrue from the first day of <br /> employment and shall be available after six (6) months of service. Contract Employee sball <br /> - <br /> accrue vacation leave on a monthly basis at the rate often (10) days per year. <br /> Donation of Leave: Contract Employee may participate in the Donation of Leave <br /> after six (6) months of service without City match to the Leave Bank. Contnct Employee <br /> shall not receive any employee benefit not expressly descnDed in this paragraph (b). <br /> 4. Term <br /> The term of this Agreement shall commence on July 1, 1997 and shall expire em June 30, <br /> 1998 unless this agreement is terminated sooner. <br /> S. T erminåtion <br /> Either party may terminate this agreement without cause upon giving the other party not <br /> less than two (2) weeks notice. The City may upon delivery or receipt of the termination <br /> notice from Contract Employee, at its option and sole discretion, require that Contract <br /> Employee either (1) continue to render services described in Exhibit" A" úntil the date of <br /> termination or (2) immediately cease the performance of any of all of the secvices described <br /> in Exhibit "A"; or any or all other services. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, <br /> Contract Employee shall, upon the City's Notice of Termination deliver to City a written <br /> status report of all projects or matters in which Contract Employee is involved. Regardless <br /> of whether or not Contract Employee renders services during the termination period, <br /> Contract Employee shall be entitled to the payment of two (2) weeks regular compensation <br /> pursuant to paragraph 3 above. In the event of termination, all rights and obligation of the <br /> parties hereto shall hereupon cease, except as to vacation hours which may have accrued <br /> prior to the date of termination. The provisions of this paragraph shall not be deemed a <br /> limitation upon the respective rights or remedies of the parties hereto which may accrue to <br /> them. <br /> -~,.>. . ~. <br />
