B. The Coordinating Committee will endeavor to work with already existing organizations and structures within the community to maintain a commitment to reducing the duplication and fragmentation of services. 6. REDWOOD CITY 2000 COORDINATING COMMI'ITEE STAFF: It is understood that the Coordinating Committee will require the services of a Project Coordinator and related support staff A. The Executive Committee will designate the City to contract for the Project Coordinator and necessary staff on behalf of the Committee. B. The County, Elementary School District and High School District agree to transfer to City, their initial contributions in the amount of Fifteen Thousand and 500/100 dollars ($15, 500.00) each, within sixty (60) days of the date of this Agreement. 7. PARTIES PROVISION OF FUNDING. FACll.ITIES. AND SERVICES. A. Each of the Parties shall contribute the sum of Fifteen Thousand and 500/1 00 Dollars ($15,500.00) annually to support the work of the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee. The parties acknowledge that they have deposited said amount for the fiscal year July 1, 1997 - June 30, 1998. B. City is authorized to receive money on behalf of the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee and deposit same into a special deposit account in the City's General Fund. The money received on behalf of the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee shall be disbursed as requested by the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee Project Coordinator in writing, subject to administrative procedures of City. C. At no time shall the City be under any obligation to disburse money to the Redwood City 2000 Coordinating Committee in excess of the amount on deposit. The Committee acknowledges that money received by the City will not be available for disbursement for three (3) business days after the funds have been deposited by City, or for a longer period, as deemed appropriate by City's Finance Director. 4 "'~-,.
