<br /> ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br />REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT FRIENDLY ACRES <br />HEALTHY START PROGRAM <br /> (TAFT SCHOOL) <br /> 'ff..- <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this æ day of <br />~ Okf}- <br />,1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, ("City") and the REDWOOD CITY <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT ("School District"); <br /> WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS, School District conducts a program known as the Taft School <br />Friendly Acres Healthy Start Program (the "Program"); and <br />WHEREAS, the School District is the recipient of a grant from the State of <br />California Interagency Children and Youth Services Division (the "Grant"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Program will initiate changes to improve the collaboration <br />between school, community, and the public and private sectors; and <br />WHEREAS, School District has requested assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City; and <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to assist the <br />School District by providing (1) School District with a staff member to serve on <br />the Healthy Start Leadership Council on a part time basis for the Program; (2) <br />coordination services; and (3) a recreational leader on a part time basis; and <br />- - .. ...-... ... .--.---.-....¡-.......' ...... <br />
