<br /> on!"~\' <br /> rw.J L <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR PROJECT MANAGER <br /> FOR THE SANDPIPER ~ARK JOINT USE PROJECT <br /> This Agreement is made/and entered into this IS) day of <br /> 1)eœ-r-~ ~995, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the state of California (" CITY") and the <br />BELMONT ELEMENTARY DISTRICT, a Public School District in the County <br />of San Mateo ("DISTRICT"), hereinafter sometimes referred to jointly <br />as "CITY/DISTRICT," and Vanir Construction Management·, Inc·: , a <br />California Corporation hereinafter referred to as "PROJECT MANAGER." <br /> RECITALS <br />-\ A. On March 28, ~995, CITY and DISTRICT entered into an <br />agreement, entitled "Joint Use Agreement Between the City of Redwood <br />city and the Belmont Elementary School District Regarding Joint Use <br />of The Sandpiper Park Site," hereinafter referred to as the "Joint <br />Use Agreement," for the purpose of jointly developing and operating <br />public recreational and community service facilities, and developing <br />and operating public school classroom and administration facilities. <br /> B. Paragraph ~5 of the Joint Use Agreement provides: <br /> CITY and DISTRICT shall jointly select a Project <br /> Manager, and shall jointly enter into a services <br /> agreement with the Project Manager. The Project <br /> Manager shall have the responsibility to <br /> coordinate and oversee all phases of the project, <br /> and shall periodically provide progress reports to <br /> CITY and DISTRICT. CITY and DISTRICT shall share <br /> equally in the costs of retaining the Project <br /> Manager. <br /> C. project Manager has reviewed the Joint Use Agreement, and <br />represents that it possesses the experience, and is fully qualified, <br />to perform the services as provided for in the Joint Use Agreement, <br /> _.~ , '.-' <br /> i <br />
