<br />-_., <br />Brian Lee <br />May 19, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />Revising Trench Locations <br />This work involves the changes to the plans in accordance with the general changes given us by <br />PG&E and Pac Bell. (Note: Numerous attempts have been made to contact TCI, however there <br />has been no response. If this continues we can only assume that TCI will be in the same trench <br />section to the house connection, although they have indicated pedestals. If this assumption is <br />incorrect there will be additional work after their final review.) Changes in the trench locations <br />also involve changes in some of the box locations. These will all have to be worked out. <br />Revising Trench Occupants <br />Along with changes in the locations of the trenches the occupants, naturally, change accordingly. <br />When a trench section is changed all the adjoining sections have to be looked at for changes, and, <br />if any of these change, the adjoining sections to them, and so forth until there are no more <br />changes to the system. <br />Revising House Connections <br />There are sixteen connections to adjacent facilities. Almost half of these services have been <br />revised including a change in the number of services to the McKinley School. <br />Revising Trench Cross Sections <br />As mentioned in the background portion of this letter reduced width cross-sections were required <br />as of the last meeting. This will require additional cross sections shown on the cross section <br />sheets as well as revising the corresponding "bubble" designations. <br />Revising Cost Allocation <br />All the above changes result in completely revising the cost sharing analysis. New sheets have to <br />be prepared and new calculations made. <br />Service vs. Distribution Trenching <br />The concept of service verses distribution trenching was provided us at the last meeting. This <br />requires separate calculations with separate set ups. <br />Form "B" Sheets <br />At a subsequent meeting held on Thursday, April 8, 1997, the utility companies presented their <br />Form "B" Sheets which must be partically completed prior to advertisement.
