<br />Brian Lee <br />October 1, 1996 <br />Page 2 <br />Task 1-2 - Surveys <br />Surveys will be made to determine all above ground and visual facilities within the <br />projected limits of work. The survey work will be in addition to (and not duplicate) the <br />survey work already perfonned on James Avenue from Hudson to EI Camino Real. No <br />right of way, boundary, or record of survey work is included in this scope. However legal <br />descriptions for the McKinly School will be prepared based on record data. No boundary <br />survey is included and City will furnish the title reports. <br />Deliverables <br />· Survey notes and related data. <br />· Base mapping. <br />Task 1-3 - Design (50%) <br />The design phase will consist of preparing Plans, Specifications and an Engineer's Estimate <br />(PS&E) for the work to be done. Plans will be prepared in City of Redwood City format, <br />in English units at 1" = 20' Scale for the Plan/Profile Sheets and a smaller Scale for the <br />traffic control during construction. Fonnal cross sections will not be prepared since there <br />is no extensive earthwork. <br />The work at EI Camino will be limited to revising the curb returns and preparing the plan <br />for the encroachment permit in metric units. No other work at this location is included in <br />this scope of work. Any additional work required by Caltrans would be paid for as <br />additional work (optional). <br />Plans will be prepared in AutoCAD.
