PUBLIC HEARING - Discussion of the proposed General Plan (taken out of order at <br />this time.) <br />Report: Decisions 2000: the Redwood City General Plan, Planning Director <br />Patterson, 10/4/89 <br />Draft General Plan, prepared for the public hearing <br />Planning Director Patterson presented the staff report and thanked the <br />individuals who participated in shaping the proposed General Plan. <br />The following people addressed the Council: <br />Mike Gibson, Redwood Shores Inc., 3 Twin Dolphin Drive, Redwood City expressed <br />concern about the ambiguity of the traffic proposals on Page F -2 and suggested <br />the open space element on Page H -1 was confusing. <br />Robert Slusser, 541 Cringle Drive, Redwood City asked if Section T -7 on Page <br />F -8 (truck size and weight limit enforcement) included all residential streets <br />and was assured by Council that it did. <br />Councilman Murray expressed concern that people are not aware how important the <br />General Plan is and suggested that staff prepare a a booklet containing all <br />elements of the General Plan for review before the next meeting. <br />MEMO 10/10/89 <br />Mayor Greenalch suggested continuing the Public Hearing process and making <br />available a document with all 7 elements in both City Hall and the Library. <br />MEMO 10/10/89 <br />Manuel Sotomayor, 12 Riveria Circle, Redwood City asked to have all General <br />Plan issues presented in a document made available to the public, and requested <br />Council to reconsider inclusionary zoning. <br />Minutes MINUTE BOOK NO. 49 <br />10/9/89 Page No. 118 <br />Page 4 <br />
