Report: Community Development Director, 10/25/89 <br />John LaTorra, Building Official and Keith Bautista, Chairman of the Board of <br />Building Review presented the staff report and answered Council questions <br />regarding seismic safety requirements, engineering report, voluntary <br />compliance and external pressures, swimming pool code, earthquake standards in <br />Redwood Shores, and the scheduled identification of the 30 designated <br />buildings. <br />Title read. Clean Air and Rail Transportation Act - Vice Mayor LaBerge explained <br />Committee's recommendation to take no action at this time to allow for the <br />City Attorney to prepare an analysis of this Act for discussion at the <br />next Committee meeting. <br />c. Ordinance prohibiting AIDS Discrimination - Vice Mayor LaBerge described <br />ordinance and Committee's recommendation that staff distribute County <br />ordinance for comment and continue review. <br />d.
