Program last Thursday with Brian Kangas Foulk Director of Planning Pat Webb <br />and San Mateo County Supervisor Anna Eshoo and shared his enthusiasm for a <br />lively and interesting discussions that ensued. Councilmembers Bury and <br />Stangel and Mayor Greenalch also participated in the Leadership program and <br />echoed Councilman Murray's comments. <br />2c. Vice Mayor LaBerge described the delightful "over 80" birthday party held <br />this year at Casa de Redwood for 35 celebrants, sponsored by the Peninsula <br />Hills Ladies Club. <br />2d. Vice Mayor LaBerge congratulated Jim Centis, Chairman of the Library Advisory <br />Board which received an award of recognition by the California Library <br />Services board. <br />2e. Mayor Greenalch described the wonderful celebration of the 125th anniversary <br />of the 1st United Methodist Church in Redwood City on Sunday, November 1, <br />1989. <br />2f. Mayor Greenalch invited everyone to attend the PCA sponsored breakfast meeting <br />on November 17th at Pete's Harbor with Councilman Murray as the featured <br />speaker. <br />2g. Mayor Greenalch announced that the Council of Mayors dinner will be held this <br />Friday, November 17th at the Hotel Sofitel. <br />BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />3.
