<br />purposes of providing the administrative support services referenced in <br />paragraph 1. Appointment to the Employment Positions shall be made pursuant <br />to Rule X Section 11 of the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the City of <br />Redwood City, and shall be evidenced by contract entered into between the <br />persons appointed to said positions and City. <br /> The duties, terms and conditions of the Employment Positions shall be <br />established by C/CAG; provided, that those employment ("fringe") benefits <br />established by City ("City's Benefits") which are designated by C/CAG as <br />applicable to said positions shall be included in said contracts of employment. <br />Determination of the amount of salary and the extent of City's Benefits pertaining <br />to each of said Employment Positions shall be the full responsibility of C/CAG. <br />It is the intent of this agreement that City's responsibility shall be limited solely to <br />processing payroll and administering general personnel policiHs of City regarding <br />City's Benefits and other benefits, under the aforesaid contracts. <br /> Except for administering payroll and benefit functions by City, C/CAG shall <br />assume full and complete responsibility for all aspects of the employment <br />relationship of the Employment Positions, including termination. C/CAG's <br />Governing Board shall have the right to evaluate the performance of the persons <br />appointed to the Employment Positions. The salary ranges for the Employment <br />Positions shall be established by C/CAG's Governing Board, and the parties <br />hereto recognize that C/CAG and the persons appointed to said positions have <br />entered, or shall enter, into separate contracts which establish the salary and <br />employment benefits for each of said positions. <br />Agmt-17 2 <br />G\shared\Redwood\Council <br />DES:AK\rg <br />04/30/96 <br /> .. .-. _.'.--'.-'..--..--"...-~-..~'.-- <br />
