In pursuance of the foregoing, the Chamber shall: <br /> Community Develooment <br /> (1) Distribute public information; <br /> (2) Distribute information sheets, community guides and maps on Redwood City; <br /> (3) Maintain a Leadership Redwood City Program; <br /> (4) Publish a monthly, "Its Your Town" which provides space to local groups and <br /> organizations to promote their projects. <br /> Economic Develooment <br /> (1) Share in the implementation of Redwood City's Economic Development Strategy with <br /> the Redevelopment Agency. <br /> - Target industry programs for identification and outreach <br /> - Citywide business promotion <br /> - Strike team participation <br /> - Commercial Real Estate Breakfast <br /> - Continue business tòcus groups with major employers, and Mayor, Council members <br /> and/or senior staff <br /> - Project Brochures <br /> (2) Research and publish community economic profile for 1998-99. <br /> (3) Provide general assistance in business development through the Service Corps. of <br /> Retired Executives ("SCORE") counseling program. <br /> (4) Maintain a "Doing Business in Redwood City" information packet. <br /> -,.,~"..~. ,'. --~~,_.,. <br />
