<br />WHEREAS, the proposed Realignment of Winslow Street and related side streets <br />shall include, but not be limited to the installation of storm drainage, street lighting, <br />traffic control, and water facilities, traffic striping, the raising to grade of water facilities, <br />sanitary sewer facilities, storm drain facilities, and street monuments; and <br />\VHEREAS, the City and County are desirous of the formation of an underground <br />utility district within the project limits and the surrounding area, in conjunction with said <br />Realignment of Winslow Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has adopted Ordinance No. 2084 on <br />November 7, 1994, authorizing the formation of Underground Utility District No. 1994-1; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the County has adopted Resolution No. 59015, on January 10, 1995, <br />authorizing the use of up to $397,700 of the County's Rule 20Å allocation for the <br />expenditure on the conversion project to be carried out in said Underground Utility District <br /> ., <br />No. 1994-1; and <br />WHEREAS, the reconstruction of Winslow Street and related side streets lies within <br />the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City. A map showing the area within the City <br />to be declared County Highways and the area to be reconstructed in accordance with this <br />agreement is attached as "Exhibit A", and <br />WHEREAS, the County has adopted Resolution No. 59063, on January 25, 1995, <br />declaring portions of Winslow Street, Bradford Street, Fuller Street, and Brewster A venue, <br />as shown on Exhibit" A", and situated within the territory of the City of Redwood City to <br />temporarily be County Highways of the County of San Mateo for the purpose of right-of-way <br />acquisition, construction, and improvement; <br /> -- <br />-2- <br />T - ,. ~- <br /> .. ~'~"" ".-.-.-... -r··..· <br />
