<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City consents to the temporary designation of said portion of <br />Winslow Street, Bradford Street, Allerton Street, Fuller Street, and Brewster Avenue <br />described in "Exhibit A" as County highways of the County of San Mateo for the sole <br />purpose of performing the work of improvement described herein and only to the extent <br />necessary to perform such work of improvement. <br />2. County will include in its contract for the above described project, <br />provisions for raising of City-owned water valve boxes, storm drain manholes, <br />sewer manholes, street monuments to the new grade, and installation of storm drainage <br />facilities, street lighting facilities, traffic control facilities, and water facilities, as well as all <br />traffic striping, and street reconstruction work for said portion of Winslow Street and related <br />side streets within the corporate limits of the City. <br />3. County will award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the <br />complete construction project including but not limited tq. the raising of said City-owned <br />water valve boxes, sewer manholes, storm drain manholes, and street monuments to the new <br />grade, the installation of City-owned storm drainage, street lighting, traffic control, and <br />water facilities, traffic striping, and roadway reconstruction. <br />4. County agrees to notify City of the successful bidder to whom the <br />construction contract is awarded. <br />s. City agrees to reimburse County, on demand, the total cost incurred by <br />County, estimated to be $78,(}(J(J for said installation of street lighting, traffic control, and <br />water facilities, traffic striping, and the raising of said City-owned water valve boxes, sewer <br />manholes, storm drain manholes, and street monuments to the new grade.
