<br /> V. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED <br /> In consideration of the services rendered by the COUNTY in accordance with all terms, <br /> conditions and specifications set forth herein and in Exhibit "A", CITY shall make <br /> payment in the following specified manner: <br /> a) Eighty-five Cents ($0.85) for each Notice of Parking Violation filed with the court <br /> for processing, on condition that the combined filings of all cities contracting with <br /> the county for the processing of Notices of Parking Violation does not fall below <br /> a minimum of 220,000 filings per year. The number of citations filed will be <br /> reviewed during the first week of July at the end of each contract year. The <br /> contract year is a fiscal year commencing July 1 and ending June 30. If the <br /> number of citations filed have dropped below the minimum of 220,000, the cost <br /> for processing each Notice of Parking Violation will be renegotiated within sixty <br /> (60) days of then end of the contract year to an amount that will cover the <br /> deficiency. If an agreement is not reached within 90 days of the end of the <br /> contract year, the County may exercise its right to terminate the agreement. <br /> b) CITY'S payment to COUNTY for services rendered by the VENDOR under the <br /> sub-contract will be according to the following projected volume level pricing, <br /> which projections are subject to adjustment based on the rates specified in the <br /> agreement between COUNTY and VENDOR, which may not be finalized as of <br /> the date of the execution of this agreement. <br /> Notices of Illegal Parking Price per Notice Habitual Out of State Special <br /> Issued Offender Letter Collections Collections <br /> 200,001 - 300,000 $1.74/$1.70* $1.15 35%> 38%> <br /> 150,001 - 200,000 $ 1.85/$1.81 * $1.15 35%> 38%> <br /> 100,001 - 150,000 $2.06/$2.02* $1.15 35%> 38%>- <br /> 50,001 - 100,000 $2.58/$2.54* $1.15 35%> 38%>- <br /> 1 - 50,000 $3.09/$3.05* $1.15 35%>- 38%>- <br /> *Price for automated tickets from handheld devices <br /> >- Percentage of the Total amount collected for Out of State Citations or amount collected using <br /> Special Processing of the Citations to be able to collect. <br /> If any of the charges imposed pursuant to the COUNTY'S agreement with VENDOR, <br /> including but not limited to service fees, DMV fees, postal rates, special collection fees <br /> and out of state collection fees, are adjusted (increased or decreased) during the term of <br /> this agreement, CITY'S compensation to COUNTY shall be adjusted to reflect the <br /> adjustment in the rates COUNTY pays to VENDOR. <br /> VI. METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED <br /> Payment for services rendered by the COUNTY and by the VENDOR under sub-contract <br /> with the COUNTY will be deducted each month by the CLERK from the parking penalties <br /> collected prior to the distribution to CITY.
